Isleta El Espino is a private island ecolodge in Lake Nicaragua just off the coast of the colonial city of Granada that we had the pleasure of helping to design and landscape. It consists of five guest rooms, a swimming pool, yoga platform, bar, and dining and is based upon the principal that sustainability with respect of the environment, people, and culture is of the utmost importance. Isleta El Espino is off-grid with solar power.
